51Degrees, a real-time data services provider, announces the appointment of Jo Rabin as Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
Prior to joining 51Degrees as CTO, he was part of the business as an advisor for many years. During this time, he co-invented 51Degrees Hash based patents, which covers the hash algorithm used for detection within our API.
For over 20 years, he has advised and mentored CEOs and CTOs at high growth start-ups and scale-ups. Jo is joining us following his role as Head of Technology, Innovation (UK & Ireland) at Deutsche Bank, where he led various industry facing initiatives. Before this, Jo has held various CTO and other directorial roles, including Chair of Mobile Web Best Practices Working Group at W3C.
